Herbucha Culture (SCOBY)
Start brewing your own kombucha at home with our Herbucha culture, otherwise known as the "SCOBY" or "Symbiotic Colony of Bacteria and Yeast." These powerful microorganisms (such as Gluconacetobacter, Acetobacter, and Lactobacillus) convert sugar and tea into several acids, including amino acids, vitamins and enzymes, creating the lightly carbonated and tangy-sweet drink we know as kombucha.
